About the UCDA: Greetings from the Chairman

The Universal Communication Design Association (UCDA) is a general incorporated association that conducts research to improve transmission efficiency in communicating information between businesses and organizations and consumers, with the aim to contribute to their mutual benefit.
"Human engineering" has appeared in the field of industrial products, and a human-centered design" development process has arrived in information appliances such as personal computers, cell phones, etc. The concept of Universal Design is also spreading, and products that are easy to use for all kinds of consumers are being developed. While on the one hand this kind of relationship between things and people has been improving, on the other hand an information barrier remains between businesses and consumers in today's society of too much information. We believe that many consumers will consider "information designed to be easy to understand" to be an important guarantee of quality for businesses and organizations providing services and products that are difficult to visualize.
We call this "Universal Communication Design". In particular, in communicating important information related to consumers' lives and property, we firmly believe that "easy to look at, easy to understand, and viral" design removes barriers between information senders and receivers and creates good relationships.
At the UCDA, we will contribute to the realization of an easy-to-live-in society by developing and improving communication design using the accumulated knowledge of industry, academia, and consumers. We ask for your assistance and support of our association's values.
